Washburn Law School co-sponsors institute

Washburn University School of Law has announced it will be collaborating with Gonzaga University School of Law in a joint sponsorship of the Institute for Law Teaching and Learning. Michael Hunter Schwartz, a Washburn law professor, has agreed to co-direct the institute with Gonzaga professor Gerry Hess, the founding director.

Schwartz and Hess have plans to expand the reach of the institute by enhancing the resources available through the institute’s Web site, by continuing to publish The Law Teacher and hold annual conferences, and by starting a law journal focusing on law teaching, learning and curriculum.

For more information about the institute, contact Schwartz at (785) 670-1666 or at michael.schwartz@washburn.edu.
