Laird Noller Ford-AMC-Jeep-Renault added Lincoln-Mercury to its name and the last Lawrence “downtown” new car dealership was lost. The Noller operation at 23rd and Alabama bought the University Lincoln-Mercury facility at Ninth and Mississippi. Bryan Sanders was owner of the property.
