More than 160 U.S., NATO vehicles burned

? A witness says suspected militants have attacked a terminal in northwest Pakistan for trucks ferrying supplies to NATO and U.S. forces in Afghanistan.

The attack early today in Peshawar was the second in as many days in the city on a transit route for Afghanistan-bound trucks. More than 160 U.S. and NATO vehicles are believed damaged.

Terminal laborer Altaf Hussain says there was a loud explosion and several militants stormed the facility.

Up to 75 percent of the supplies for NATO and U.S. troops in landlocked Afghanistan first pass through Pakistan.

An Associated Press reporter at the scene saw several dozen torched military vehicles.
