NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS No. 5 Texas A&M 77, Stephen F. Austin 36
Freshman forward Adaora Elonu had 17 points, and Tyra White and Tanisha Smith added 13 apiece to lead No. 5 Texas A&M over Stephen F. Austin on Tuesday night.
The victory wrapped up a six-game road trip for the Aggies (7-0), who allowed four field goals in the first half while building a 33-12 lead.
Stephen F. Austin (4-3) was led by Natashia Green’s 12 points.
Texas A&M coach Gary Blair, who coached at Stephen F. Austin for eight seasons ending in the early 1990s, was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame at halftime.
