They are a great company to work for, and Lawrence can use the jobs that this new store will bring.

Actually I just changed my mind. I went for a late-night visit to the Wal-mart in south Lawrence, and they were really rude to me. Overworked, underpaid employees working the 10-pm-to-7-am shift. It's a hard shift but they should teach those people some manners. I think they should bulldoze both Wal-marts and open another Target or two.

I don't shop there often and won't at the new one, but the sooner it is on the real estate rolls and start writing the city checks the better.
