¢Basketball Fundraiser: The Lawrence Phog U-10 boys basketball team is holding a Texas Hold ’em fundraiser. The event will take place at Lawrence Union Pacific Depot at 402 North 2nd Street. ¢Youth Soccer: Kansas Soccer Academy teams went 3-0 in league play over the past weekend in the Heartland Soccer League in Olathe. KSA Blaze (2-0), U12 boys, smashed the Omega Orange. Jake Burdett, Brennan Occhipinto, Carson Gilland, Jake Jimenez, Garrett Cruce and Kyle Vogelsang scored goals. KSA Gunners (2-0), U13 girls, came from behind to defeat the KC Outlaws 3-2 with Tanna Fanshier scoring all three goals. KSA Orange, high school girls, (2-0) defeated NEU Stars 2-0. Goals were scored by Caroline Mayhew with an assist by McKenzie Dever and Kylee Loneker unassisted.

¢Gollier Hole-in-One: Bob Gollier used a 9-iron Saturday to fire a hole-in-one on the 146-yard 17th hole at Lawrence Country Club. Witnesses were Andy Arensberg, Scott Kimzey and George Grieb.
