Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Geoffrey Aaron Parks, graduated Aug. 8 from the Naval School of Music in Norfolk, Va. He has been assigned to the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, Ga., and will play percussion for the Albany Marine Band. This 50-member band travels throughout the United States and internationally to fulfill its mission of musical ambassadorship, providing music for military ceremonies, community celebrations, recruiting programs and official events.

Parks is the son of the Revs. Tom and Becky Parks, Muskegon, Mich., and the grandson of Loren and Bev Dolezal, Lawrence.
