Cancer center welcomes doctor

Lawrence Memorial Hospital recently announced the addition of Dr. Darren Klish to the Lawrence Cancer Center, 330 Ark.

Klish completed his residency training in radiation oncology at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan., and received additional training at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston for the management of breast, lung, prostate, brain and head and neck malignancies.

Klish is a native of Derby and received a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from Kansas State University and a master’s degree in public health and chronic disease epidemiology from the Yale University School of Medicine. He completed a doctorate at the KU School of Medicine.
