Iselle falls to tropical depression off Mexico

? Forecasters say Tropical Storm Iselle has been downgraded to a depression off Mexico’s Pacific coast.

The U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami says Iselle’s winds have fallen to under 35 mph (55 kph), and the system is expected to weaken further over the weekend and dissipate.

Iselle was located late Friday about 340 miles (550 kilometers) southwest of the tip of the Baja California peninsula.

The system was moving northwest and heading farther out to sea.
