Tobacco Free Kansas secretary re-elected

Kathy Bruner, chairwoman of Clean Air Lawrence, recently was re-elected secretary of the Tobacco Free Kansas Coalition at the state meeting in Newton.

The coalition will work to encourage state lawmakers to enact a law in the upcoming session to level the playing field for all businesses by going 100 percent smoke-free, and use a portion of the Tobacco Master Settlement Funds that Kansas has received for cessation and education regarding tobacco use.
