Laming, a Lawrence capitalist, will go before the city council Monday and ask for another franchise for the Stranger Valley Co. to build an electric (rail) line through Lawrence. : Aeronauts and army officers looking for ways to develop the art of war in the air are beginning to center their attention on Fort Myer, near Washington, where experiment with items such as airships can be studied and perhaps developed."
