The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club’s game on April 16 was directed by Chris Lane. The North-South players were led by Shari Krentzel and Eldon Herd, with Mona Bell and Chris Lane placing second. Clyde Romer and Kent McCullough were third and Mary Fenlon and Lester Dalton placed fourth. Jolene Andersen and Ann Thompson placed first in C.

The East-West players were led by Virginia Seaver and Madelyn Jenks, with Arkie Vaughn and Chuck Hedges placing second. Wanna Roszel and Bebe Huxtable were third and Klee Zaricky and Betty Collier placed fourth.

The Thursday Morning Mentor game on April 17 utilized the Howell movement and was directed by Chris Lane. The pairs ranked in the following order: Virginia Seaver and Arkie Vaughn, first; Barbara McCorkle and Vince Nordberg, second; Don Bush and Earle Core, third; and Bebe Huxtable and Pat Lechtenberg, fourth.

The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club’s game on April 18 was directed by Virginia Seaver. The North-South players were led by Kent McCullough and Clyde Romer. Sally Taylor and Yvonne Hedges were second, with Nita Scales and Jolene Andersen placing third. Harry Shaffer and Lynn Hui were fourth.

The East-West players were led by Peter Petillo and Brian Barrett, with Judy Hildreth and Adelaide Nyquist placing second. Paul Heitzman and David Piro were third. Debbi Bettinger and Shari Krentzel placed second in B. Mona Bell and Carol Ball were third in B.

The Sunday Afternoon Bridge Club’s game on April 20 was directed by Chris Lane. This was a special game with a number of new players to duplicate play participating. The North-South players were led by Virginia Seaver and Laura Tiffany, with Jean Khatib and Madelyn Jenks placing second. Caroline Jackson and Eldon Herd were third and Shirley Reese and Marilyn Martin placed fourth.

The East-West players were led by Angie Davidson and Adelaide Nyquist, with Mona Bell and Mary Remus placing second. Other new players participating were Dick Moore, Hope Freund and Mary Cornwell.

The Monday Evening Bridge Club’s game on April 21 was directed by Virginia Seaver. The North-South players were led by Donna Johnson and James Masilamani. Clyde Romer and John Fittell placed second, with Larry Bodle and Kent McCullough in third place. Julia Dalton and Lester Dalton placed fourth and Jeane Landry and Lynn Hui were fifth. Earle Core and Albert Ballard placed first in C.

The East-West players were led by David Piro and Brian Barrett, with Jim Stewart and Vince Nordberg placing second. Virginia Seaver and Paul Heitzman were third. Jambo Zhang and Don Bush placed fourth and Jolene Andersen and Pat Musick placed fifth.

University Bridge Club announces results of its April 19 meeting. Hosts were Marc and Cora Kuepker. Blue winners were Ray Ikenberry, first; Isabelle Schaake, second; Tom Waller, third; Alice Akin, fourth; and Dan Harden, fifth. Pink winners were Lois Liebert, first; Willie Stoltenberg, second; Florence McNicoll, third; Ruth Harwood, fourth; and Mary Gaumer, fifth.
