Boston - Casey Kotchman's solo homer in the sixth helped the Angels snap the Red Sox's six-game winning streak.

Rays 5, Blue Jays 3

Kissimmee, Fla. - Evan Longoria drove in two for the Rays.

Yankees 6, White Sox 4

Chicago - Mike Mussina pitched seven strong innings and moved ahead of Bob Gibson on baseball's career wins list with 252.

Athletics 3, Twins 0

Oakland, Calif. - Mike Sweeney ended a 39-game homerless streak spanning 140 at-bats for the Athletics.

Orioles 3, Mariners 2

Seattle - Nick Markakis hit a tie-breaking home run in the eighth for Baltimore.

Royals postponed

Kansas City, Mo. - The Royals-Indians game was postponed by rain Wednesday night, and will be made up today as part of a doubleheader starting at 5:10 p.m.

The Royals waited nearly 2 hours before officially calling the game, with no let up of rain in the forecast. Neither team took batting practice on the field after the tarp was put down in the late afternoon.
