Roesler JGC Winner: Chad Roesler fired a 76 and edged Conrad Roberts by a stroke in Sunday’s Jayhawk Golf Club weekly tournament at Alvamar. Mark Terranova was third with a 79. In net scoring, Tom Dennis was low with a 74 followed by Jeff Miller, 77, and Van Reichert, 79. In the league opener on April 5, Roesler and Roberts each shot a 73 with Chris Anderson third at 75. In net scoring, Tom Taylor was low with a 71 followed by Brian Tuttle and Charles Pauls, each with a 78.

Runnin’ Revs: Three Lawrence priests will be competing for the Runnin’ Revs in a basketball game against high school players from area Catholic schools at 7 p.m. Monday at Topeka Hayden High. John Schmeidler of St. John the Evangelist, Mitchel Zimmerman, vocation director for the Archdiocese of Kansas City who also serves at St. Lawrence Center, and Brian List of St. Lawrence Center will be playing for the Revs. Donations benefit vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

Half-Marathon Entries: It’s not too late to enter Sunday’s TherapyWorks Half-Marathon. Registration will be from 1-7 p.m. Saturday at Navarre Hall on the Haskell Indian Nations University campus and from 6:30-7:30 a.m. on the day of the race at HINU’s Coffin Complex. The half-marathon will begin at 8 a.m., the 5K at 8:05 a.m. and the mile fun run at 8:15 a.m.

Eagle Bend Info: Eagle Bend men, senior men and women leagues will begin this month, as will beginner and intermediate lessons. New at the municipal golf course is a year-long pass that costs $750. For information, call 748-0600.
