Police seek help identifying robber

On April 9, 2008 at approximately 2145 hours an unknown male entered the Glass House Liquor Store (2301 Wakarusa) armed with a gun and robbed the clerk. Prior to the robbery the suspect was observed walking from the east and after the robbery the suspect was again observed walking back towards the east. Below is an image of the suspect during the robbery. The Lawrence Police Department is asking anyone who may have witnessed the subject before or after the robbery or has information about this robbery to call the Investigations Division (785-830-7430) or CRIME STOPPERS.

Lawrence police have released a security camera photograph taken last week when a man robbed a liquor store.

Police hope someone will recall seeing the gunman before or after the robbery, which occurred at 9:45 p.m. April 9 at Glass House Liquor Store, 2301 Wakarusa Drive.

The robber wore a mask and gloves and was armed with a handgun. He was dressed in black, including a hooded jacket. He was seen before the robbery walking from the east and afterward he walked toward the east, police said.
