The top three primary finishers held their rankings in the City Commission general election, and voters rejected bids by two incumbents to return to office. David Longhurst, Ernest Angino and Mike Amyx were elected to the commission, all for the first time. Incumbents Don Binns and Marci Francisco were turned down.
