Old Home Town – 100 years ago

From the Lawrence Daily World for April 3, 1908: “A stockholder in the Weber Brothers Piano Co. here has secured an injunction against allowing moving of equipment from the factory here. The plant was partly in rail cars before the injunction was issued and it appears we will have no more piano production here unless some new firm comes in. . . . From Eudora comes news that blossoms are plentiful and that some great fruit crops are due this year.”
