Chicago Board of Trade
Agriculture futures closed higher Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May delivery jumped 41.5 cents to $9.365; May corn added 11.75 cents to $5.9575; May oats rose 9 cents to $3.97; May soybeans gained 32 cents to $12.43. Beef futures traded lower and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. April live cattle fell 1.20 cents to 86.20 cents; April feeder cattle lost 1.52 cents to 97.60 cents; April lean hogs slipped 0.40 cent to 55.60 cents; May pork bellies rose 0.80 cent to 67.87 cents.
