The Lawrence Tennis Association U14 Slammers welcomed the KC Ambassadors to Lawrence for doubles and singles matches Saturday in North Lawrence.

Tanner Williams was the only Slammer to notch a win versus the tough out-of-town competition. Williams scored a 7-6 win over the Ambassadors’ Kamal Fulgehm in singles action.

Matthew Hamm and Richard Lu played tough matches against Camillie Williams and Mie Moon, only to fall short.

The Slammers took on the Ambassadors in doubles action but fell in two games.
