Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Douglas and surrounding counties

The National Weather Service has canceled a severe thunderstorm warning for Douglas County.

The warning was issued at 3:08 p.m. and expired shortly before at 4 p.m.

Rain continued, however, and there were reports of high water in the area of 23rd and Ousdahl.

There is usally high water at 23rd and Ousdahl when it rains.
