Emily Willis is the new owner of Salon Hawk, a full-service salon for men and women in the Kansas Union at Kansas University.

The salon, which has been remodeled to include new styling stations and shelves, offers hair styling, manicures, pedicures and acrylic nails; arm, eyebrow, lip, and chin waxing; and Fusion hair extensions.

Willis, a fourth-generation hair stylist, has training in cosmetology and worked an apprenticeship with a barber.
