Area officials learn to address child abuse
Staff members from GaDuGi SafeCenter, SRS and members of Douglas County and Lawrence law enforcement agencies attended the Crimes Against Children Conference, a training event last month in Dallas.
The conference, presented by Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center and the Dallas Police Department, provided participants with tools and resources to identify, investigate and treat child abuse.
The conference is considered largest and most comprehensive event of its kind in the country.
