Army Reserve troops return home today
The 946th Transportation Co. of the Army Reserve will be returning to Lawrence today after completing its deployment as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The soldiers will be honored at a ceremony at 5 p.m. at the Samuel J. Churchill Army Reserve Center, 2100 Iowa.
The public is invited to the ceremony.
