Jane Bateman, Lawrence, is celebrating the 30th anniversary of her business, Jane Bateman The Interiors Store, in 2007.

Bateman and her business partner, Kelley Witmer, are graduates of Iowa State University – Bateman in interior design and Witmer in business. They specialize in custom window fashions, including blinds, shades, shutters and draperies with specialized valances. The shop also has upholstery, bedspreads, and design consultation using brand names and high-quality products.

Bateman’s shop has been at its current location, 2101 W. 28th Terrace, since 1983.
