Arlington, Texas ? The Kansas City Royals activated outfielder Mark Teahen from the 15-day disabled list and recalled pitchers Kyle Davies and Leo Nunez from Triple-A Omaha before their game against the Texas Rangers on Monday night.

Teahen had been out since straining his left forearm attempting to make a diving catch in Oakland on Aug. 18.

The right-handed Davies, acquired from Atlanta on July 31 for reliever Octavio Dotel, was sent to the minors on Aug. 31 in order to clear space for Mike Sweeney, who was activated from the 60-day disabled list.
