Hawaii soccer rolls over Kansas, 4-0

? Hawaii exploded for three second-half goals and spoiled Kansas University’s season soccer opener with a 4-0 victory early Saturday.

Kansas fell in its opener despite taking 12 shots to Hawaii’s six and enjoying a 4-0 advantage in corner kicks. Freshman Erin Ellefson had three shots on goal. Senior Nicole Cauzillo and sophomore Monica Dolinsky had a pair each.

Kansas met Auburn on Saturday in a match scheduled to begin at midnight, Lawrence time. The Jayhawks will open at home Tuesday against UMKC.
