The Stull Family and Community Education unit plans to meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Catherine Nichols. Esther Wulfkuhle will give the lesson on “Where In the World Is Turku?”

Douglas County Family and Community Education, in cooperation with K-State Research and Extension’s Family and Consumer Sciences, is offering the program “Respect – A Character Counts!” at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 14 in Deal Six Auditorium at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds, 2110 Harper St. The free program is open to the public. Registration is requested by calling 843-7058. The registration deadline is Friday.
