Missouri forward charged

? Missouri senior forward Darryl Butterfield was charged Friday with peace disturbance, a little over a week after he was arrested following an incident with his girlfriend.

Butterfield initially was accused of third-degree domestic assault following his arrest in Columbia on Oct. 17, but that charge never was filed. Peace disturbance is a lesser charge, though both are misdemeanors. It carries a maximum penalty of six months in jail.
