The Clinton Township Fire Department’s 5K run and 1 mile “fun walk” benefit is Saturday.

The event starts at 9 a.m. at Clinton Lake’s Bloomington Beach. Runner check-in is from 8:30 a.m. to 8:50 a.m. About 30 participants have pre-registered. Runners and walkers can still register during check-in. The entry fee is $15.

Money raised will go to the fire department to pay for equipment and training.
