KU student to show Greensburg movie
A Kansas University sophomore will show his documentary of the Greensburg tornado disaster Friday.
Eric Hyde, 22, of Lawrence, documented cleanup efforts in the aftermath of the May 4 tornado that destroyed much of Greensburg in his film, “A Community of Hope Rebuilds: Greensburg Tornado Disaster.” The event is free to the public, but donations for the rebuilding of Greensburg will be accepted.
The hourlong film will begin at 6:45 p.m. in the Woodruff Auditorium in the Kansas Union, 1301 Jayhawk Blvd.
