Chicago markets

Agriculture futures slid Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for December delivery dropped the 30-cent limit allowed by the CBOT to $8.11; December corn fell 4.5 cents to $3.565; December oats shed 3.75 cents to $2.745; January soybeans fell 5.5 cents to $9.9375. On the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, December live cattle dropped 1.35 cents to 95.87 cents; November feeder cattle lost 0.6 cent to $1.105; December lean hogs shed 0.92 cent to 55.35 cents; February pork bellies fell 1.4 cents to 80.12 cents.
