Ill-advised plan
To the editor:
The proposed Lawrence Airport Business Park would seem to be ill-advised. There are 14 vacant “modern” retail properties in North Lawrence plus a large mall with no retail occupants. The promoters of said park want to roll the dice using an estimated $17 million in tax monies. One last question: How many of the entities created by the promoters of this park have gone bankrupt in the past?
