Kansas University was reprimanded by the Big Eight Conference for a recruiting violation by a member of the football staff of coach Pepper Rodgers. But KU Chancellor Clarke Wescoe, at a Strong Hall rally, said “I want everyone to know I stand beside the man who I believe is the finest coach in America.”
