From the Lawrence Daily World for Oct. 19, 1907: "A children's parade is planned for today in connection with the Biederwolf religious revival meetings. Every child will have a flag and many will be equipped with their school colors. It should be quite a sight. : It is interesting to note that after a period of sagging in evangelistic efforts, the past three years have produced new interest in religion and the huge Biederwolf revival effort here is further evidence of that. Interest has been great and attendance even bigger than expected. Speaker Biederwolf calls Lawrence the cleanest, snappiest, up-to-date city he has seen in the Sunflower State. But he adds there still is a lot of room for spiritual improvement. 'God is raining righteousness on his people everywhere and the present decade should go down in religious history as one of the finest in religious history.' : Rev. Biederwolf had another stirring sermon last night dealing with men's regard for the welfare of other men's souls. He focused on the way so many are ignored due to selfish reasons by others."
