Lawrence Police Chief Bill Troelstrup accepted a top administrative post with Florida’s new Bureau of Law Enforcement. Troelstrup, 39, had been local chief since July of 1964. He was a Missouri University graduate and a former assistant police chief in Kansas City, Mo.
