A one-vehicle accident happened around about 7 p.m. in the parking lot of Goodwill store near 31st and Iowa St, injuring four people.

Sgt. Dave Hubbel with the Lawrence Police Department says the female driver was eastbound on 31st street when her accelerator stuck.

She turned the out of control pick-up north onto Neider Rd. and into the Goodwill parking lot.

While trying to drive in circles, she hopped a concrete island and eventually drove into the ditch, Hubbel said.

There were two adult passengers and an infant in the car.

The driver and infant were treated at the scene.

The two other passengers were flown by air ambulance to an area hospital.
