Southwest eighth-grader Andrew Piekalkiewicz breaks loose for a touchdown against Central on Tuesday at Central Junior High.

The Southwest Bulldog eighth-grade football team remained undefeated Tuesday with a 44-6 win over Central at Central Junior High.

The Bulldogs (6-0) ran away with the contest by halftime as they extended a 22-6 lead with a 30-yard touchdown pass from Chandler Thomann to Anthony Buffalomeat on a reverse just before the clock ran out.

Southwest also had touchdown runs from Andrew Piekalkiewicz and Ty Hensley. Piekalkiewicz’s run was 45 yards and he also added an interception return in the win.

The Bulldogs take on South Oct. 18 at Youth Sports Inc.
