A traffic accident involving a large truck has closed the Kansas Turnpike interchange bridge at Bonner Springs.

Traffic on Kansas Highway 7 can’t enter the turnpike to travel east on Interstate 70, according to the Kansas Turnpike Authority. Also, eastbound traffic on I-70 can’t exit to access K-7.

The bridge could be closed overnight, a KTA spokeswoman said. No other details were available late this afternoon.
