Chicago markets

Corn and soybean prices fell Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while wheat prices rose. Wheat for March delivery rose 17.75 cents to $8.5175; December corn fell 2.25 cents to $3.835; March oats lost 3.25 cents to $2.8325; January soybeans fell 12.75 cents to $10.91. Beef and pork futures retreated on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. December live cattle fell 0.8 cent to 96.1 cents; January feeder cattle shed 0.38 cent to $1.1057; December lean hogs fell 1.05 cents to 54.55 cents; February pork bellies lost 0.35 cent to 91.62 cents.
