The Lawrence Jewish Community Center has announced upcoming Hanukkah events open to the community. Unless otherwise specified, events are at the community center, 917 Highland Drive.

Saturday: Jewish Community Women Family Hanukkah Party, with proceeds for LINK, 7 p.m.

Dec. 2: Hanukkah Gift Shop Open House, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Dec. 7: Hanukkah Sabbath, with Menorah ceremony, 7:30 p.m., and all-musical Shabbat service with Shiray Shabbat, 7:45 p.m.

Dec. 9: Joint Hanukkah Family Education Event, with Temple Beth Sholom, 10 a.m., 4200 SW Munson, Topeka.
