Norman, Okla. Highly-touted guard Willie Warren signed with Oklahoma as part of a four-player recruiting class announced by coach Jeff Capel on Tuesday.
"He can score with the best of them, he's already got a college-ready body and he loves to compete," Capel said. "He has the potential to be a lockdown defender, he can shoot it with range, and he's as explosive a guard as there is in this class."
Warren, a 6-foot-4 guard, averaged 23.2 points and 4.7 assists last season at North Crowley High School in Fort Worth, Texas. He joins high school guard Ray Willis and Texas junior-college transfers Kyle Cannon and Orlando Allen in Capel's second recruiting class at Oklahoma.
