Marissa Ingle, a third baseman from Olathe North, and Sarah Blair, a pitcher from Katy, Texas, have signed softball letters of intent with Kansas University.

Each of the two high school seniors also can play the outfield, KU coach Tracy Bunge said.

Ingle is a three-time All-Sunflower League selection who played on the K.C. Peppers Gold team that won the U-18 USSSA Nationals.

Blair twice has earned all-district honors while pitching for Taylor High in the Houston suburbs.
