Agency gives award to tiny-k program

Ballard Community Services recently honored tiny-k Early Intervention of Douglas County for serving as a community partner.

The recognition came during Ballard Community Services’ annual Community Recognition and Awards Ceremony; tiny-k providers support children up to 3 years old with special needs, who attend the Ballard Center Early Childhood Program.

The Kansas Division of Early Childhood recently gave tiny-k Early Intervention with a $500 Mini-Grant Award to create a public awareness campaign regarding conditions that can result in an infant ending up with a significant flat spot on the back of his or her head.
