Traveling together

Packing and unpacking, jetlag and lost luggage are only a few things that can take the romance out of a romantic getaway. Here are some tips from the November issue of Best Life for men planning a vacation for two:

¢ Spontaneity equals stress. You may want your vacation to seem impulsive, but it’s better to thoroughly plan your flight, accommodations and excursions.

¢ Ditch your BlackBerry. If you can’t do that, prearrange appropriate times when you can check your e-mail or phone your secretary.

¢ Take a post-vacation buffer day. The extra time will help you get over jetlag and return to work feeling refreshed.
