Better not light that match.

The Douglas County Commission has imposed restrictions on outdoor burning, due to a lack of rain and dry soil throughout the county. The ban is in effect until next Monday.

The ban includes:

¢ Open fires or campfires, except on residential sites. Barbecues and fireplaces are excluded.

¢ The burning of all fence rows, fields, wildlands, ravines, trash, debris or other areas or materials.

¢ Careless use and disposal of smoking materials.
