Baker to celebrate international education

? Focusing on the theme “Poverty: A Global Perspective,” Baker University will celebrate International Education Week Monday through Friday.

The week begins with Baker’s annual Global Awareness Fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Harter Union and continues with Baker Brewsday at 11 a.m. Tuesday on the third floor of Collins Library.

Here’s a look at events planned for the rest of the week:

¢ Wednesday: Spanish language table, 11:30 a.m., cafeteria; CIA Forum: “Poverty: A Global Perspective,” 7 p.m., TBA, open to public

¢ Wednesday-Friday: “People to People” Fair Trade Sale, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Harter Union Lobby, sponsored by Phi Beta Delta, open to the public

¢ Thursday: French language table, 11:45 a.m., cafeteria; French film “The Spanish Apartment,” hosted by French Amity Scholar Anthony Remy, 7 p.m., Mabee 101
