Al and Carol Smith were hosts for University Club Bridge on Nov. 3. Blue winners were: Paul Jordan, first; Roy Cropp, second; Dottie MIller, third; Virginia Williams, fourth; Florence McNicoll, fifth. Pink winners were: Cathy Waller, first; Bebe Huxtable, second; Mary Jo Spotts, third; Bonnie Haney, fourth; Donna Riehm, fifth.

¢The following Kaw Valley Bridge Clubs games were between Oct. 31 and Nov. 5:

The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club game was directed by Chris Lane. The players were led by Yvonne Hedges and Sally Taylor in first place in A and B with Chris Lane and Julia Brooks in second place in A. Virginia Seaver and Madelyn Jenks placed third in A with Mary Fenlon and Lester Dalton in fourth place. Grant Sutton and Catherine Blumenfeld were fifth in A, second in B and first in C . Third place in B was a tie between Eldon Herd and Chuck Hedges with Virginia Johnston and Clarice Broz.

The Thursday Morning Mentor Bridge game was directed by Chris Lane. First place went to Bebe Huxtable and Lester Dalton. Three teams – Jean Khatib and Shirley Reese, Ann Tams and Eldon Herd and Barbara Figgins and Madelyn Jenks. – tied for second place.

The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club game was directed by Virginia Seaver. North-South players were led by Lynn Hui and Harry Shaffer followed by Lester Dalton and Mary Fenlon. Chris Lane and Yvonne Hedges placed third in A and first in B followed by Klee Zaricky and Chuck Hedges at second in B. The North-South players were led by David Piro and Paul Heitzman followed by Sally Taylor and Virginia Seaver. Lois Clark and Catherine Blumenfeld were third in A and second in B and C. Bobby Patton and Mark Osborn placed second in B.

The Monday Evening Bridge Club game was directed by Virginia Seaver. The North-South winners were Terry Tolar and Harry Shaffer at first in A, followed by Janice Hollowell and Mary Fenlon. Julia Dalton and Lester Dalton were third in A and first in B with Jeff Nash and Chris Lane at fourth in A and second in B. Marty Hartman and Patricia Burgstahler placed first in C. The East-West winners were Paul Heitzman and James Masilamani with a tie for second place between Ed Howard and Jambo Zhang with Peter Petillo and David Piro. Virginia Hamilton and Dorothy Netson placed fourth in A and first in B and C. Lois Clark and Shirley Reese placed second in B.
