The city is looking for volunteers to help shovel snow from sidewalks near the homes of elderly residents.

For several years, the city and local nonprofit organizations have tried to coordinate a program to help senior citizens clear their sidewalks. The program assigns volunteers to houses to visit each time a snowfall hits the city.
