Chicago – Tyrus Thomas had 19 points and 14 rebounds, and Chicago finally got its first victory after four losses. Kirk Hinrich had 14 assists for the Bulls.

Mavericks 120, Warriors 115

Oakland, Calif. – Dirk Nowitzki scored eight of his 22 points in the fourth quarter, Jerry Stackhouse hit a three-pointer with 37 seconds left, and Dallas defeated winless Golden State.

Josh Howard had 24 points for the Mavericks, who snapped a five-game regular-season losing streak against the Warriors. They held off another sublime performance from Baron Davis, who scored 15 of his 37 points in the fourth quarter as a six-man Golden State rotation repeatedly threatened to embarrass the mighty Mavs again.

But Davis missed a potential game-tying three-pointer with four seconds to play.
