Clippers 104, Pacers 89

Indianapolis – Sam Cassell scored 35 points to lead Los Angeles over Indiana in a matchup of unbeaten teams.

Cassell was 13-for-20 from the field to tie his highest point total since he joined the Clippers in 2005.

Chris Kaman added 15 points and 22 rebounds for the Clippers (4-0). His rebound total was the highest of any player in the league so far this season.

Los Angeles guard Cuttino Mobley left the game holding his right groin with 6:41 remaining in the first quarter and did not return. Mobley scored 33 points Tuesday night against the Bulls.

Celtics 119, Nuggets 93

Boston – Paul Pierce scored 26 points, Kevin Garnett added 23 points and 13 rebounds, and Boston shot 72 percent during an overpowering first half. Boston improved to 3-0 overall and has beaten its two opponents at home this season by an average of 24 points. Ray Allen scored 22 points and is shooting 63 percent since joining the Celtics.

Grizzlies 105, Sonics 98

Seattle – Rudy Gay overcame a cold start to score 25 points, and Kyle Lowry hit a clinching three-pointer as Memphis overcame a 14-point deficit in the second half to beat the winless Sonics, sending Seattle to its worst start in 38 years. Lowry, who missed five of his first six shots, got a rebound off his missed layup and then swished a three-pointer with 11.3 seconds remaining.

Hawks 105, Suns 96

Atlanta – Josh Smith scored 22 points, rookie Al Horford led a dominant performance on the boards, and Atlanta beat another 60-win team from last season, holding off Steve Nash and Phoenix.

Spurs 88, Heat 78

San Antonio – Manu Ginobili scored 25 points, Tony Parker added 23, and San Antonio kept Miami winless. Ginobili hit four of the Spurs’ seven three-pointers and scored 12 points in the third quarter, after the Spurs led by only one at halftime.

Tim Duncan scored 12 points for San Antonio.

Magic 105, Raptors 96

Toronto – Hedo Turkoglu had 24 points and a career-high 15 rebounds, Rashard Lewis scored 24 points, and Orlando beat Toronto. Keith Bogans had 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Dwight Howard added 17 points.

Jazz 103, Cavaliers 101

Salt Lake City – Deron Williams made a layup with 1.3 seconds remaining, and Utah overcame LeBron James’ triple-double and tying three-pointer. James tied the score at 101 with six seconds left with his seventh straight point for the Cavs. James finished with 32 points, 15 rebounds and 13 assists.

76ers 94, Bobcats 63

Philadelphia – Andre Iguodala scored 19 points, Willie Green had 14, and Philadelphia jumped on Charlotte early and never let up, sending the Bobcats back to .500 after a brief undefeated streak. The Bobcats played without point guard Raymond Felton after he hurt his left knee a night earlier against Phoenix.

Blazers 93, Hornets 90

Portland, Ore. – Martell Webster and Jarrett Jack each scored 20 points, and Portland earned its first victory of the season.
